    Find me on...

Another photo. Yesterday I walked around Adelaide and in the Botanic Garden I was surprised to find a colony of bats (Grey-headed flying foxes, to be precise) hanging in the trees. They made a scary kind of noise that could be heard from far away. I watched them for a while and even got to watch some flying between the trees. Pretty fascinating. They’re only fruit bats, but hanging upside down for most of the day and with their impressive wing span, they are interesting to watch.
