    My own apartment

Hi, this is the first post from my iPhone. I’m sitting in the kitchen of Central City Backpackers in Hobart and just finished with dinner. That’s right, I’m still staying at a hostel, unfortunately.

However I found a beautiful apartment in the CBD of Hobart, only two minutes walk from my office. Yesterday I signed the lease but until I can move in, there’s still another three weeks of delay. I’ll try to attach some photos to this post, but if the blog layout gets messed up I won’t be able to fix it until Monday ;-).

My job is a lot more fun now because I got a beautiful new 24” iMac on Tuesday, a long story but it’s finally here. Huge screen but I love it.

This week I changed the booking of my return flight. On 15 January I will fly back to Germany for about two weeks. I need to sort my belongings that I have stored at my mothers house and then send as much as possible to Hobart. Maybe there will be the chance to meet some of you guys, once I am back in Hobart it might take a few years until I ‘visit’ Germany again..

Around 20 December I will leave to Cradle Mountain to walk the Overland Track. When I’m back I will spend the end of the year at the Falls Festival in Marion Bay, Tasmania. Two weeks later I will head to Sydney to prepare for another 20 hour intercontinental economy nightmare…

At least, for my flight back to Australia I am planning to fly via London so I can book a seat in premium economy class and maybe fly with the new Airbus A380 :-)
