    Coober Pedy to Uluru

We left earlier than the days before, we were facing a long drive from Coober Pedy to Uluru. I got up right in time for a spectacular sunrise.

They made a scary kind of noise that could be heard from far away. I watched them for a while and even got to watch some flying between the trees. Pretty fascinating. They’re only fruit bats, but hanging upside down for most of the day and with their impressive wing span, they are interesting to watch.
