8 July 2009When I read through some news websites today I was surprised to find a heated discussion about the Uluru, or Ayers Rock. The reason is a draft management plan which was released for the Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park. In this management plan it is suggested to ban climbing Uluru, and this is what causes …
5 March 2009Yesterday my new visa was granted.
Suddenly everything went so fast. I few weeks ago I finalised the required medial documents and since I hadn’t heard anything from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) I already started to be worried. It would have been a nightmare if the documents would have gone lost in transit.
24 February 2009…and not in Germany for example.
4 February 2009There’s quite a lot to tell. The last few weeks were probably the most crazy ones I had since I based myself here. Hopefully you don’t mind that I put this all into one big post.

10 October 2008Last night it took me 4 hours to assemble my bed frame. Apparently the factory in Vietnam ran out of instruction manuals… My fault. Why would you expect an instruction manual for a bed frame with only 50 parts and 100 screws? I’m still to much used to IKEA where you get instruction manuals for …
6 October 2008…my soccer team played shit last weekend.
Last week on Monday I officially moved into my apartment. My boss was kind enough to give me some temporary furniture and kitchen equipment until my own stuff arrives, so I didn’t need to extend at the backpackers hostel. I will get my own furniture hopefully this week, not …
