A few photos from a day spent exploring walks and beaches on Phillip Island. We travelled to the island for the World Superbike race weekend, but we already went over on Thursday to have a spare day for walks and sightseeing before the racing began on Friday.
It was exciting because it was the first big trip in the new Jimny that we had picked up only a week earlier. Hoping for many more adventures to come.
After checking out Woolamai beach we did some short walks at Conservation Hill Reserve. We then went to Nobbies to see the colony of fairy penguins; there is a boardwalk which goes past many penguin burrows, so it’s not always necessary to buy a ticket for the famous penguin parade. Later we went to Cowes for dinner and watched the sunset from the beach.
